About Our Contractor Association

The Mechanical Insulators Labor Management and Cooperative Trust (LMCT) is affiliated with the National Union Insulation Contractors Alliance (NUICA) to promote and advance the union Mechanical Insulation industry.

NUICA signatory contractors uphold a high standard of quality of work, which is why their contractors pay their employees to receive industry-leading instruction through a U.S. Department of Labor registered apprenticeship program. During their apprenticeship, Insulator apprentices earn while they learn, which means they work on jobsites alongside skilled journeyman, who teach them the trade in addition to the classroom instruction all apprentices receive.

By using the most highly skilled and highly trained Mechanical Insulation workforce in North America, LMCT-affiliated contractors can complete any size project with quality craftsmanship, no matter the complexity, on time and within budget.
