Virtual Event: 2020 Tradeswomen Build Nation Conference

August 28, 2020

The North America’s Building Trades Unions have announced the 2020 Trades Women Build Nations Conference will be a virtual event.

In the past, this annual conference was held at different locations throughout North America and Washington D.C. was chosen to be the host city in 2020.

Initially, the event was canceled due to current safety protocols enacted to help prevent the spread of the coronavirus. In August, NABTU announced the popular conference was back on, but would be moved to an online format this year.

This annual conference not only serves to promote women in the building trades, but also provides them with speakers and workshops geared to help them be successful and advance in the industry. It provides women with empowerment, so they can return to their Local, to their jobsite and strive to achieve greatness.

Each year, multiple speakers address the thousands of women in attendance. Besides speakers, attendees also broke off into workshops, where they learned about a variety of topics.

The 10th Annual TWBN event will feature a more condensed version of events. Instead of a weekend of speakers and workshops, participants will spend one Saturday online, listening to the speakers, panels and participating in workshops.

The LMCT proudly supports the women who attend this event and work to make the insulation industry more diverse.

Anyone interested in registering for the event can do so by clicking here.
